Network Performance - we analyse networks
We have analysed the performance of networks to improve response
times, to cope with traffic peaks, to discover why transactions
succeed or fail and to understand and correct localised outages.
Techniques used in this analysis include utilisation measurements,
traffic patterns, peak analysis, weekly and daily reports,
exception reporting, trouble ticketing, helpdesk and engineering
dispatch records.
Interpretation of network information is frequently required
in order to see the real traffic patterns. We use bespoke
algorithms written in Visual Basic and SQL to apply our client's
business rules to the available network measurements. This
specialised software produces maps, graphs and reports which
gives managers the necessary information to improve the operation
of their network.
