Network Mapping - we visually manage networks
We use maps to give perspective to networks. These maps are
used for normal operational purposes to visualise traffic
patterns and observe status of components in the network based
on specific business rules.
We tailor the information displayed to suit the requirements
of various groups of users. For example, managers can be provided
with a realtime view of current performance and utilisation,
time series, most urgent tickets, averages and peaks, historic
patterns.
The maps we build are viewed in standard web browsers where
SVG is used to display and provide interactive control of
the layers of information. This makes it easy to see where
or when anomalies occur in the network.
Network maps are also used for special realtime analysis,
to predict usage patterns and to prompt pre-emptive actions
to avoid failures.
